Found at ground level, The Bon Bon Bar is a speakeasy space styled on the sweet shoppes of old with similarly sweet cocktails to match: a sleek marble bar is ?anked by dark mahogany bar stools set for singles to mingle, while emerald-green walls are offset by vintage prints, offbeat curiosities and mirrored alcoves displaying row upon row of brightly-coloured sweetie jars packed with retro candy. At the other end, a plasma TV screens old black-and-white movies while velvet lounge seats surround white-clothed tables for group gatherings.
Included in the sweet-inspired cocktail menu are treats like the pinkand-white ‘Miss Marshmallow’ - made with raspberry and vanilla vodka, topped with a fluffy marshmallow - the electric blue ‘Candy Cane’ - made from Koko Kanu, Blue Curaçao, Lichi Li Liqueur and gin, served with a striped candy cane - and ‘Liquorice Lady’ - made from Black Sambuca and vodka, garnished with a Liquorice Lace. Accompanying these decadent delights is a menu of more vintage-inspired concoctions that features classics from Manhattans to Martinis.
